Softdrinks: Hazardous for the bones

Posted August 21st, 2008 by ju

Aside from other hazardous effects of drinking softdrinks, US scientist found out that a softdrink fan can have low bone density.

That means,  through softdrinks that have rich with phosphoric acid takes out the calcium in the bones.

And so try drinking a lot of fresh fruit juices like orange, lemon and citrus.

Its delicious as well as healthy option!

I’ve recently been on a smoothie kick. I mean kick! I’m addicted. Strawberry Banana is my favorite, but I’ve been mixing in pineapple, mango, orange and making all kinds of combos.

I agree, coke is evil. I do love 7-up but I’m trying to stay away from the diet colas… I think it’s just an easy fix to save calories but my smoothies give me incredible energy so I think it’s even. Good find on the low bone density. Another reason to drop it altogether…

I learned this same fact several months ago and, on and off, have been trying to decrease the amount of Diet Coke I drink. But I don’t drink coffee, so it is my only source of caffeine. If it’s not one vice, it’s another!

    Your blog is great!
