What a lovely carving and I like the way you’ve photographed it… the blurring around the edges gives the sense (to me) of smoke from his pipe and I expect him to start telling stories any minute.
Interesting carving, I’m with Raven, I like the way you’ve presented it with the blurry edges, it really suits the colouring and looks very atmospheric!
