The old city
Posted on August 4th, 2008 @ 4:44 am

We went to visit an old city meaning “historical city centre within the city wall”. The town was known for being one of the oldest town in this country. I’ve seen the town was enclosed with walls and everything was there from small market, church, municipal hall to wind mill. The houses are called half timbered and the street are covered with cobble stones. We also went up the old wind mill. There are alot of people visiting that place and I wonder how the residence live that everyday scenario.

Saturday news
Posted on August 2nd, 2008 @ 4:12 am

Saturday is always our grocery day , I buy in bulk since hub can drive me in the supermarket.  We were about to proceed at the counter when hub’s cellphone rang and it was MIL. She asked hub if he can drop by at her place to help them clean their carpets. And so we proceeded immediately to their house after we shopped. FIL and hub cleaned those carpets and I helped MIL cleaned her garden. We also collected some pest snails or slugs that do not have shells.  These are the no. 1 enemy of gardeners.  We also waited for the hedgehog to appear and they can eat those pest. What a day knowing that there are species like this which Ihave just encountered for the first time.

Posted on August 1st, 2008 @ 3:58 am

Welcome to the month of august!

How time flies that fast. This morning I made my grocery at the nearby supermarket and  I noticed they have already autumn decorations. Shops had just finish there summer sales and so all the summer items were already packed and stored till next year. This time all the items for fall season are in then later on the winter sale. A few more sleeps and one month for now its also another year will be added to my age. Na ja, I’m getting older.
